Great Heron Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, focusing on the revitalisation of the rural communities of the world. Presently working on Africa – we would appreciate any assistance in the West African Region.

Missions statement

In a time when the modern world is advancing by leaps and bounds, everyday, new creations, explorations and discoveries; it saddens us that there are still so many basic stones left unturned.

The development of the oldest civilization in the world, conversely, appears sluggish and somewhat earthbound. Basic needs such as water, housing, clothing, electricity has been denied vast areas of habitation; unbelievable in this modern world.

To progressively assist in the alleviation of some of these problems , is the main aim of the Great Heron Foundation – The Gambia.

What our NGO Gambia do

Through self-help, motivational and educational programs, we aspire to achieve some semblance of contemporary modern day living within the rural areas of Africa. With the aid of the international communities who have already advanced beyond this archaic existence, we trust our goals will be achieved marvellously within this present time and age.
