EMEFS Microfinance Limited (EML)

EMEFS Microfinance Limited (EML) is a limited liability company registered in Ghana. EMEFS was incorporated under the Companies Code 1963, Act 179 with the Registrar Generals Department on the 14thJuly 2010 and certified to commence business on 15th July 2010.

Prior to its incorporation, the company operated as a sole proprietorship under the name EMEFS Susu Savings &Micro Loans.

EMEFS Microfinance Limited is a wholly owned indigenous Ghanaian company which was issued with an operating license by the Central Bank of Ghana under the new Banking Act, 2004 (Act 673) as a Non-Bank Financial Institution.

The company mobilizes deposits from the general public and extends credit to Micro-businesses, Small and Medium Scale Enterprise (SME’s) within the various sectors of the economy.It is a member of Ghana Association of Micro-finance Companies (GAMC).
