Care Foundation The Gambia CFTG
Care Foundation The Gambia CFTG was established in 2000 and has both a Dutch committee and Gambian committee which work closely together.
The CFTG is a Registered Charity Organization in the Gambia and has a certificate of incorporation in The Gambia under the company act 1955nr 155/2000 .
The Stichting Care Foundation The Gambia is since 2001 registered with the Dutch chamber of commerce (K.v.K) under number 35150562.
The CFTG is closely working with the communities and got a good working relationship with the various Government Ministries.
The Care Foundation The Gambia depends on donations from private individuals and gifts and subsidies from trusts and other organization.
Your gift will be spent solely by CFTG on projects and we have excellent accounting system in place to give you feedback on how your money was spent.

OBJECTIVE OF THE FOUNDATION
The Care Foundation The Gambia was set up to help the Gambia people in the areas of education, health care and agriculture, primarily for the under privileged Gambians through skill acquisition, affordable health care and income enhancing projects
HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE FOUNDATION
The Care Foundation The Gambia is the brain child of Ineke de Rijk a Dutch national and Mustapha Jarju a Gambian. Ineke de Rijk is the chairperson of the Care Foundation The Gambia. She first came to The Gambia as a tourist in 1995, and on this visit she was awaked by the living conditions and standard she found there, this inspired her to try and to do something at least to alleviate the suffering of the under privilege, especially the children. In this vain she went back to The Netherlands and started raising funds through friends, relatives and well-wishers to setup the foundation. She came back to The Gambia on several occasion and in collaboration with Mustapha Jarju the foundation was in corporated in the year 2000. Since then a lot of projects have been established and are still sustained by the foundation.
